The third nipple occurs within 4-5 weeks of development as an embryo. Extra nipples are smaller than regular nipples. The Procedure
The treatment is quick and an outpatient procedure consisting of minimal incisions and removal of excess breast, fat, and skin tissues. The procedure is performed using local anaesthesia and can be completed in an hour or less. Dr. Rosenberg uses advanced techniques to leave minimal scars. There’s minimal downtime, and we’ll provide you with the aftercare instructions. If swelling occurs, it subsides within a few weeks, and peak results appear within six months.

No. An accessory third nipple develops in the utero throughout the fourth week of pregnancy. If the tissue doesn’t recede, it can result in a third nipple.
