Venus Viva
The Venus Viva™ is an FDA approved non-surgical solution for facial rejuvenation and skin resurfacing and has been designed to achieve a clearer, revitalized and healthier, more youthful complexion. Skin issues the Venus Viva™ can address include acne scarring, textural irregularities, pigmentation irregularities, skin laxity, fine lines & wrinkles, enlarged pores and stretch marks.
Using advanced NanoFractional Radio Frequency and SmartScan technology, skin cells are heated, stimulating the body’s natural collagen production to improve the overall texture of the skin by treating a range of skin irregularities in a single treatment session. It is unique in this ability to treat multiple issues, and the specially designed handheld device works over a larger surface area at any given time making it more efficient and effective than other treatment options and is a breakthrough in facial rejuvenation for these reasons. It is also a safe and effective treatment option for all skin tones.
Most patients require a course of three treatment sessions a month apart, for which we offer a course discount.
Whilst the skin is likely to be pinky/red (like mild sunburn) for up to 48 hours after treatment, patients may resume their normal daily activities immediately after treatment and make-up can be worn within 24 hours. The treated area will then settle down within 48 hours accompanied by a small level of flaking (the removal process for dead skin cells) with a total downtime of 3-4 days. As ever, skin should be protected from UV rays during this recovery period.
How does Venus Viva skin resurfacing work?
Venus Viva works as an advanced radiofrequency microneedling procedure, essentially creating tiny wounds on the skin that the body repairs. Due to the incredibly small wounds, this treatment is more comfortable than traditional lasers and alternatives. It also causes an increase in collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer skin.
