Tummy Tuck
“Tummy tucks are one of my favorite operations”, Dr. Rosenberg can often be heard saying. He has years of experience helping patients who suffer from weakened abdominal muscles or loose and sagging skin on the stomach – a frequent result of multiple pregnancies, weight loss, or previous surgery. A tummy tuck can tighten the abdominal wall skin and produce a smoother, flatter abdomen. Dr. Rosenberg performs a wide range of tummy tuck procedures, including the mini tummy tuck and modified abdominoplasty, and even full body lifts. He customizes each treatment plan to meet the individual needs of his patients. In some cases, abdominoplasty may also be combined with liposuction for enhanced body contouring results.
Venus Viva FAQs
Venus Viva works as an advanced radiofrequency microneedling procedure, essentially creating tiny wounds on the skin that the body repairs. Due to the incredibly small wounds, this treatment is more comfortable than traditional lasers and alternatives. It also causes an increase in collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer skin.
There are a variety of skin conditions that can be treated with Venus Viva. These conditions include:
- Acne scars
- Pigmentation disorders
- Wrinkles
- Poor skin texture
The Venus Viva procedure is administered using a handheld device that emits radiofrequency energy. The device is used to heat the skin in the targeted areas, yielding effective results – often with less treatment sessions than other devices. The treatment is usually completed in less than 30 minutes.
Tummy Tuck FAQs
Patients who have sagging skin near their abdomen or excess fatty deposits are excellent candidates. A consultation with Dr. Rosenberg will give you more insight into the results you can expect from a tummy tuck and whether you might be a candidate.
Dr. Rosenberg offers customized treatment plans to ensure you get optimal results. Suppose you have the majority of skin laxity on the lower abdomen, below the belly button, or other minimal conditions. In that case, you may be an excellent candidate for a mini tummy tuck. On the contrary, a full tummy tuck is the best option if you have skin laxity on your upper and lower abdomen.
The tummy tuck procedure is personalized, and the duration of the procedure will depend on the technique chosen for you. Most patients with the minimal condition will take less than one hour to perform. It may take four hours or more to perform if you have a moderate to severe condition. We'll discuss the longevity of the procedure at the consultation.
The tummy tuck procedure will become visible immediately after the procedure. While swelling should decrease within the first several weeks, your complete results may not be apparent until six months after treatment.
